Thank you for visiting the home page of the Cherry Hill Food Pantry. We are currently accepting new applicants with emergency food requirements who reside in one if the following zip codes:  08002, 08003, 08033, 08034, 08053, and 08054.

Please note that two forms of proof of residency with zip code are required.

One visit to the pantry is allowed once every twenty-eight days.

Gift Donations

Struggling to find the perfect gift for the special people in your life this year? Consider making a gift to Cherry Hill Food & Outreach in their honor or memory. A card will be sent to the person honored or family member of deceased to acknowledge your gift.

Your donation may be made through our pay pal online.  In the comment section , type the name and address of the person and reason for your thoughtfulness.

If you prefer to donate by check, checks may be mailed to PO Box 2636, Cherry Hill NJ 08034. Kindly include the name and address of recipient and indicate occasion.

If it is a group gift, please include all donors names so we may include them in the card sent.   

Background

The Cherry Hill Food and Outreach Council (from which the Cherry Hill Food Pantry was formed) began in May, 2006. At a series of afternoon meetings interested congregants from area churches came together to discuss how they as a team, rather than as individual congregations, could best address one or more social issues facing the Cherry Hill community. The issue of hunger, or food insecurity, was a natural focus. Many individuals, families and seniors struggle to meet their bills. When faced with an unexpected expense, or worse, the loss of income, these individuals often turn to churches in the area for assistance with food, bills, and access to social services.

The Cherry Hill congregations that form the foundation of the Cherry Hill Food Pantry work together to provide food and volunteers to staff the pantry on a rotating basis.

Over 450 familes utilize the services of the Cherry Hill Food Pantry every month.
